Following their unexpected split, Cardi B and Offset have invited some legal trouble their way.

The owner of the couple’s Beverly Hills home has sued them for not paying the rent and allegedly trashing the property.

According to paperwork acquired by TMZ on Friday, December 24, the parents of two have been ordered to pay a whopping $85k in anticipated repair costs.

Broken furniture, burn marks on tables and cupboards, and scars on the tile flooring are among the alleged destroyed goods.

In addition, Cardi and Offset failed to provide notice before leaving the house in October.

The proprietors also stated that they attempted to fix the matter with the Bodak Yellow rapper and the Blame It On Set hitmaker in a handful of meetings.

They agree, however, that it was “unfruitful.”

The current feud comes after the WAP rapper announced her divorce from her spouse of six years earlier this month.

Cardi first hinted at marital problems by sending cryptic notes on her Instagram Stories.

She later appeared in a live session, declaring, “Career-wise and financially and personal life, I know where I wanna be at next year.”

“You know what I’m saying? You gotta rid of dead weight, and when it comes to dead weight,” she emphasizes in the video.
