This week, the story of the lost tourist submarine Titan got into every part of life, including rap music, thanks to Cardi B. Cardi was insulting a man named Brian Szasz, who was the grandson of one of the Titan’s passengers, back and forth on the internet. At the time this article was written, it didn’t look like Szasz had answered Cardi’s new comeback.
This week, Szasz made a lot of news when he said on social media that billionaire Hamish Harding is his dad. Many people criticized Szasz for tagging celebrities and influential people in these tweets, saying he was trying to meet famous people and gain “clout.” Cardi B seemed to agree with this point of view when she shared a video in which she said that Szasz shouldn’t be at a Blink-182 concert at this time and should instead be with his family, if he can, to help and comfort them.
In answer, Szasz tweeted, “What a pos trashy celeb. Cardi B trying to get clout off me and my families [sic] suffering. I went to a Blink-182 concert for coping rather than sitting at home and watching the news. Shame on you Cardi get some class!”
Cardi B replied, “The point was the whole world is praying for these people in the submarine and this man son is online shaking d-s for girls off OnlyFans and going to Blink-182 concerts. You was looking for clout all along, nobody knew who you were until you said that was ya stepdad!!! This is why people hate you spoiled brat billionaires y’all soo desensitized.”
After that, Szasz turned off his Twitter account, and none of his posts can be seen as of this writing. A few days later, rescue teams found pieces of the Titan in an underwater debris field. This suggests that the ship broke up soon after it lost touch with its crew on the surface. Hamish and the other four passengers are all thought to be dead.
When Twitter users said that Szasz had been arrested for stalking and making threats of extreme violence at raves, this added even more twists to the story of the lost submarine. A report from The Los Angeles Times revealed that Szasz is 37 years old and that some of these stories are true. In 2007, he was arrested for armed robbery, and in 2021, he was arrested again for stalking. Szasz has not been seen on social media yet.
