Cardi B Hides Finances Amid Physical Assault Lawsuit

Cardi B does not want people to know about her financial transactions.

As she navigates the years-long case for physical assault launched against her in 2018, the 31-year-old musician has only one request for the judge.

According to court records obtained by Radar Online, the Bodack Yellow hitmaker requested that any discussions about her financial situation, including her net worth, be prohibited during her future trial.

She stated that her fortune should not be discussed unless the court rules that Cardi pays punitive damages.

Previously, the Grammy winner requested that no evidence about previous altercations be shown to the jury.

In 2018, the WAP vocalist was sued for attacking a female security guard.

The guard, Emani Ellis, claimed she asked Cardi for a photo as she was leaving an office in a medical building.

Cardi, on the other hand, reportedly became so enraged that she began to attack Ellis, shouting “multiple profanities and racial slurs against [Ellis] who is African American.”

Cardi B has refuted all accusations of misbehavior.

The trial, which has been delayed for six years, is set to begin on February 1 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
