Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Girls Basketball Players of the Week Poll.
High school sports fans can vote for which girls basketball athletes they think were standouts during the previous week.
The poll will be open through Tuesday. The winners will be announced every Monday along with the new poll.

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week’s Players of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Lili Shanahan, Cape Cod Academy
Shanahan won her second poll of the season with 49% of the votes. She had a game-high of 23 points (five three-pointers) in a loss to Monomoy.
This week’s candidates
Susannah Brown, Monomoy
Brown ended with 15 points, 13 rebounds and six steals in a 55-30 win over Martha’s Vineyard.
Layla Clunes, Falmouth
Clunes chipped in 13 points and 15 rebounds as the Clippers beat Barnstable 49-43.
Jill Ernstrom, Nauset
Ernstrom led the Warriors with 24 points in a 48-42 win over Monomoy.
Mia Fougere, Mashpee
Fougere had career highs with 20 points (four 3s) and seven rebounds in a 54-42 win over Hull.
Hailey Garcia, Mashpee
Garcia had a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds in a 45-31 win over Monomoy.
AJ Gates, Monomoy
Gates had a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, to go with five steals, as the Sharks beat Martha’s Vineyard.
Alaina Hines, Upper Cape
Hines scored 30 points for the Rams in a 45-28 win over Bristol Plymouth.
Siena Lauze, Dennis-Yarmouth
Lauze had a career-high 26 points in a 61-36 win over Nauset.
Maddie Lawrence, Sandwich
Lawrence finished with a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds in a 52-36 win over Carver.
