FOWLER, New York (WWNY) – Elizabeth Jenne became interested in cars after her dad, a backyard mechanic, died.

“I sat there, and I actually supervised a lot of them, and I asked small, silly questions.”

The Gouverneur student studies automotive technology at Southwest Tech in Fowler. She’s this week’s Career-Tech All-Star.

“When there’s a problem and I can solve the problem, I get very excited, and, like, I’ve just achieved one of the small goals I have.”
