In the process, Alcaraz, who was only 20 years old at the time, beat a tennis great who was 16 years older than him. Djokovic easily won the first set of the match, 6-1. But the second set was a brutal test for the senior. It stayed on serve until a tough tiebreaker, which Alcaraz won 9-7.
