Another one of Cassie’s named witnesses against Diddy has spoken forward.
As Cassie’s explosive lawsuit against her ex-husband Diddy continues to inspire other women to speak out, her long-time friend and fellow musician Tiffany Red penned a letter to Diddy that was published on Rolling Stone, corroborating Cassie’s claims and even detailing an incident to which she bore witness.
“I’m breaking my silence, freeing myself from haunting recollections, standing in solidarity with Cassie, and standing up for myself,” she said in her shocking letter, which was released on Thursday.
“I fear for my safety as her suit alludes to me, although not by name,” she went on to say. “I hope that revealing my identity to the public will afford some measure of protection,” she said.
Despite the fact that the music mogul said Cassie’s complaint was “riddled with baseless and outrageous lies,” the 37-year-old vocalist confirmed an incident that occurred on Cassie’s 29th birthday in 2015.
Red claimed she was a “intoxicated” guest in the house. Diddy insulted a “timid,” “sedated,” and “withdrawn” Cassie after she refused to have sex with him, even speaking up for her friend and telling Diddy, “She doesn’t have to have sex with you if she doesn’t want to.”
But Diddy would not listen.
Red then reported being “completely traumatized” by one of the “Freak-Offs” characterized by Cassie in her lawsuit as a “arrangement” in which Diddy would force her to perform sexual actions with male escorts.
The shocking letter comes just one day after Diddy issued his first comment regarding the avalanche of allegations leveled against him, saying that he will “fight for ‘his name, [his] family, and the truth.”
