Cassie’s husband was incredibly supportive of her struggle against alleged decades-long abuse by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Sources tell People Magazine that Cassie’s husband Alex Fine, whom Cassie started dating the same year she split with Diddy, has been by her side since the beginning of the scandal.

“He’s had her back through a lot,” said the person.

“When [Ventura and Combs] dated, she was really young and trying to make it in the music industry,” a source added. “He was a force. They had a big age gap, and she put up with a lot of stuff. She was looking for an out for many years and didn’t know how to get out of the relationship.”

Not long after breaking free from the Revolt founder in 2018, the Long Way 2 Go singer met and married Fine.

Fine and Diddy first met when Fine, a personal trainer and fitness instructor, began working with Diddy and, by extension, his then-girlfriend Cassie.

“They hit it off, and she started to open up to him,” the person added.

Ventura and Fine have since created a “tight-knit” family, welcomed three-year-old Frankie Stone and two-year-old Cinco over the course of the following several years.

Cassie’s family likely provided the impetus for her to finally speak out against Combs’ decades-long physical, emotional, and sexual assault, including repeated sex trafficking.

She filed a lawsuit against him earlier this week, which they have now settled.
