Cate Blanchett Looks Amazing in Her Chic Outfit During the Cannes Film Festival Panel Talk

Cate Blanchett looked stylish when she gave a talk at the Kering Women In Motion Talk at the Cannes Film Festival.

The 54-year-old woman looked great in black leather pants that fit her well and a velvet jacket with satin lapels. She wore the jacket over a white shirt tucked in, finishing the look with black heels with pointy toes.

She chose simple gold jewelry for her accessories, like small gold hoops and a few banded rings. Coco Francini, who makes movies, went with her to the event. They first met on the set of Mrs. Americana and have since become partners in making movies.

The New Boy, her newest movie, had its world premiere at the festival on Friday. Critics have had mixed things to say about it so far. It will come out in theaters next month, with Cate in the lead role and also making the movie.

The movie takes place in the 1940s and is about an Aboriginal boy named Aswan, who is nine years old and an orphan. He goes to an abbey run by Cate’s character, Eileen, who is a renegade nun.
