It’s the third show of the year and we started off with a bit of Pacific history. 

Gen and Laki are the brilliant minds behind The Moanan, who share fun facts and true stories about the history and culture of people in the Pacific on social media that many have not heard before. 

In just under a month, UB40 will be taking the stage in Port Vila so Nesia Daily caught up with VBTC’s Head of Content, Moses Cakau Willie to hear all about the lead up to the historic event. 

Finally, we spoke to an exceptional Samoan-Australian multidisciplinary artist, Leilani Fuimaono who is part of the upcoming Queer PHOTO 2024 exhibition in Melbourne. Fuimaono’s work touches on the themes of grief, belonging/not belonging, and unpacking ideas of identity and community.
