Céline Dion is spending quality time with her children as they mark the start of the Christmas season.
Dion and her sons attended a game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The 55-year-old rock icon recently uploaded an Instagram photo of a “fun time” that included numerous unusual group shots.
“They played so well, what a game,” Dion captioned. “Thank you for meeting us after the game, guys! That was memorable for all of us. Have a great season!”
Dion, her son René-Charles, 22, and her sons Nelson and Eddy, 13, are seen engaging with the Canadiens after the game. The team lovingly reacted on the post, writing, “Thank you for the beautiful moment, Celine!” in addition to releasing a video of the singer’s visit on X, the original name of Twitter.
In December, the My Heart Will Go On singer was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome. This terminal neurological disorder can cause excruciating muscle spasms.
Following her diagnosis in May, Dion was forced to postpone all of her planned tour dates till April 2024. In a press release made on X, she addressed her followers an emotional statement along with the news.
“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again… and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything until I’m really ready to be back on stage… I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again,” the statement said.
