Since she was diagnosed with rare stiff-person syndrome, it has been four years since Celine Dion released new music.
The famous singer, who is 55 years old, teased her big musical comeback on Instagram on Wednesday by announcing her new song Love Again.
Dion wrote a song for a movie with the same name. She also made her acting debut in the upcoming romantic comedy, which also stars Sam Heughan and Priyanka Chopra.
The singer of “My Heart Will Go On” told her team that she would release her first new original music in almost four years on Thursday, April 13.
The announcement just said, “Tomorrow. 8 AM ET,” and it was next to a boomerang of hers from the movie.
The post got a lot of love and praise from Dion’s fans. “SHE’S COMING TO END CAREERS,” someone wrote excitedly.
Another person said, “Yes, we’re ready. We can’t wait for tomorrow!” and a third said, “I’m SO EXCITED, it’s Celine’s first song in four years!!!”
Love Again will be Dion’s first album since 2019’s Courage. After that, she took a break from the spotlight because of the pandemic and her own health problems.
After canceling shows because of “persistent muscle spasms,” Dion said in December that she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome and would be staying home to heal.
