
AUSTIN, Texas — The Central Texas Food Bank is diligently gearing up for the holiday season; however, the organization has noted an unexpectedly high number of volunteer cancellations.
“We are experiencing an unusual number of volunteer cancellations, and we have a lot to do as we head into the holidays,” the food bank said on Facebook.

According to the post, 186 more volunteers are needed in the warehouse off Metropolis Drive on Friday or Saturday.
Anyone who is able to volunteer is asked to sign up for a shift on the food bank’s website.
