Bella Hadid has reportedly been dismissed from her contract with Charlotte Tilbury, eight months after the business announced her as its face.
A source told Entertainment Tonight, “Hadid was released from her contract with Charlotte Tilbury.”
“The model was notified in November and was given the reason of ‘force majeure’ in her contract,” said a source inside the company.
Cornell Law School defines “force majeure” as “a provision in a contract that frees both parties from obligation if an extraordinary event directly prevents one or both parties from performing,” as reported by ET.
So far, ET has not learned the cause behind Hadid’s departure from the brand.
Some of Hadid’s confidantes suspected that the brand dropped her due to her “support for the people of Gaza”.
Tilbury released a promotional film in 2023, expressing their excitement about their cooperation with the supermodel.
The corporation stated, “Bella, darling! I’m so happy you’re here.”
Hadid responded, “Charlotte, darling! I’m so happy to be here with you, I love you.”
Meanwhile, the source said that Hadid has numerous other projects in the works following Tilbury.
The model is preparing to launch her own cosmetics and wellness line, Orebella, which will debut in May.
On the personal front, Hadid appears to be in love with her current boyfriend Adan Banuelos, reports ET.
