Cher’s Son Elijah Blue Allman’s Attempt at Reconciliation Backfires in Court

Elijah Blue Allman, the son of music legend Cher, has encountered another setback in his difficult personal life. A Los Angeles judge dismissed his attempt to dismiss his ongoing divorce from Marieangela King, adding to the complexity of the drama surrounding his mother’s conservatorship suit.

According to the complaint, the motion was denied because it included a provision for continuous temporary support.

Allman had requested a dismissal “without prejudice,” according to records obtained by People magazine. Allman and King initially filed for divorce in 2021, after eight years of marriage.

He filed the document just a few days before he was supposed to appear in court for a conservatorship hearing requested by his mother, who is 77.

King accused the pop icon of hiring four men to kidnap her estranged husband in late 2022, according to court documents made public in September of last year.

King, also known as Queenie, stated in documents obtained by the outlet later in October that she had not seen Allman since April, shortly after they agreed to “work on [their] marriage” while divorcing.

Throughout that time, the artist claimed Cher continued to “interfere” with her son’s “health management, as well as his location and accessibility.”

She stated in a statement that Allman, who was living with her at the time, “disappeared” and that she had “not seen him in person since the end of April” after their agreement on April 21 to continue their divorce procedures in a “six-month stay in discovery and litigation.”

Cher told People magazine in October “that rumor is not true” concerning the claims, but she did not clarify.

She did, however, confirm that her son’s drug issues, which he has been open about for years, were related to a private family concern.
