SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A child is in the hospital after being hit by a car while riding a skateboard on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Springfield Police Department, around 1:30 p.m., the child was riding the skateboard at the intersection of Glenstone Avenue and High Street when they were hit by a car.
The child was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Police say there were no signs of impairment from the driver.
