After dating for four years since 2019, Olivia Culpo and NFL star Christian McCaffrey have decided to take the next step and become engaged.

Friday, Culpo used Instagram to make it official that she was getting married to her boyfriend of four years.

In the photo that was shared, the San Francisco 49ers player is on one knee, and Culpo is holding her hands to her face, looking shocked.

Culpo put “4.2.23” and two infinity symbols at the end of the post.

McCaffrey asked his girlfriend to marry him while they were on vacation in Utah. The ring was made by Ring Concierge, and the couple’s dog, Oliver Sprinkles, was there to watch.

When McCaffrey posted a photo on Instagram in May 2019, Culpo liked it. This made people think that they were dating.

After a few months, the two were caught on camera having a good time on vacation in Mexico.

Last November, Culpo, who is 30 years old, told Entertainment Tonight that she was willing to break her rule about not dating athletes again because McCaffrey was different from the athletes she had dated before, and those relationships didn’t work out.

She said of McCaffrey, 26, “He’s just the best. I feel like he’s everything I could ever want.”

“So I have nothing to worry about. I think that’s why, no offense, I didn’t want to date an athlete, because they have a reputation.”

“He just comes from a great family,” Culpo said. In that way, we have a lot in common. I think that a person’s parents really shape who they are, and I just love his parents so much. They get along really well.”
