Christian Siriano and OLAY know what you really want for Christmas. Sure, stockings filled with pretty things are nice, but all anyone is asking for is a little me time to get some true rest and relaxation. That’s why fashion designer Siriano teamed up with OLAY on a holiday fashion collection that’s all about self-care. Tied to their latest innovation in skincare, the OLAY Super Serum—which offers five benefits to improve skin texture, firmness, tone, hydration and fine lines—the collection encompasses three drops that are available for pre-order exclusively on OLAY.com starting today and officially drops on November 14.

As OLAY’s very first “Chief Drop Officer,” Siriano designed the Christian Siriano x OLAY Slides, which are super smooth and comfy; Christian Siriano x OLAY Robe, adorned with a fresh take on the Christian Siriano logo that’s exclusive to OLAY; and the Christian Siriano x OLAY Dropp Kit that doubles as a purse and allows you to take your skincare routine on-the-go in style. Siriano tells Forbes all about the collab, his newbie skincare status and what he really wants for Christmas.

Why did you want to partner with OLAY?

It’s such a great brand that has been around a really long time, and I share the same values of this idea of wanting to celebrate beauty right now—all the shapes and sizes and ages and genders and all the things that that means. I loved working with them and we’ve had a really fun time on this project.

What does beauty mean to you personally?

I’m so glad that it’s changed in our world. I think what beauty is about now is confidence in yourself. That can be so beautiful—and that can be anything. If you feel great about yourself and are confident and feel powerful and have presence, that’s what beauty is now.

What does your role as Chief Drop Officer for OLAY entail?

We wanted this to be a cool holiday draw that was in the moment, that hopefully everybody will want to get. The idea was that I was to design these three great pieces that go along with the Super Serum that OLAY just launched. The pieces were very inspired by the serum—the bottle and the packaging and all of that. But we also wanted the items to be very functional. Hopefully, people are taking that break around the holiday for self-care, even if you’re buying this as a gift. Hopefully people are buying this to give it as a gift, but also get one for yourself because you deserve it. That’s how we felt all the items should be. We did a beautiful bag, a gorgeous robe and a beautiful slide that is super comfortable and clean and glamorous.

What was your design inspiration for the three items in the collection?

There was lots of back and forth of what it would be and I had a lot of ideas. But we narrowed it down to three items that hopefully people would love to have. The serum bottle itself is already gorgeous—it’s pearlescent, iridescent, pink and purple ombré, and the serum itself is a smoothing, hydrating product. I put all of those elements into everything that we designed. The robe is super plush and beautiful, but still bold and powerful. Everything has some of the elements of the serum. The bag has pearls on it. We took little elements from everything.

Was that the first time a skincare product was your muse?

It is! I’ve done collaborations before but it’s always about the product. I let the product inspire me, and then we got to make really cool accessories to go along with it, which was a fun challenge to do. I think people are gonna hopefully love it and it’s all under $100, so even better.

Did you learn anything new about beauty or skincare from working with OLAY on this project?

I learned a lot because the thing is I had never even used a serum before. I have a very simple regimen of skincare so now I understand why people love it so much. I get it; I am in it. Then you are obsessed with it and you want it and you’re like what else can I do?

What is your skincare routine now?

It’s simple. I’ve definitely been trying to use this serum and I always have used the OLAY Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturizer because it’s a great product. I don’t do much. I mean, I barely even bring things with me when I travel, which is awful. I will just bring like one moisturizer and that’s it. It’s nice that I’m playing around a little bit more, and I feel part of the beauty community, which is so fun.

What is your self-care routine like?

Now more than ever, there’s so much going on in the world, and everybody should take time for themselves as much as you can. My self-care is taking a break and being able to be home and binge my show that I want to watch. That’s like literally my self-care because I get no time to do anything. So, I think that’s what’s important. I think it’s more and more a goal, hopefully, that people really take time for themselves. You’ve got to be in love with yourself before anyone anyway.

That’s the best beauty tip.

What do you want for the holidays this year?

What do I really want? I want a beach house. Truthfully, that’s what I want. So, we’ll see if Santa brings it.

Any beach in particular?

No, I don’t care where it is. See, I’m so flexible—it’s such an easy gift.
