Cindy Morgan, the 69-Year-Old Actress from ‘Tron,’ Was Found Dead at Her Home

Cindy Morgan, best known in the early 1980s for her appearances in Caddyshack and Tron, has died at the age of 69.

The actress was discovered dead in her Lake Worth Beach, Florida, home by her roommate on December 30 after returning from a trip, according to TMZ.

The roommate told the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office that she returned home for the holidays and knocked on Morgan’s bedroom door but received no response.

However, she detected a strong odor from within and dialed 911. The police entered Morgan’s chamber and discovered her body. Morgan was last seen alive on December 19 by her roommate.

Authorities said they have no reason to suspect foul play and believe the actress died of “natural causes.” However, an investigation is still underway.

Morgan had her breakthrough as Lacey Underall in the 1980 sports comedy Caddyshack, alongside Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Rodger Dangerfield, and Michael O’Keefe.

She followed Caddyshack’s popularity with the 1982 sci-fi Tron, in which she portrayed Dr Lora Baines and her alter ego Yori.

Throughout the ’80s and ’90s, she mostly appeared on television, including in Bring ‘Em Back Alive and Falcon Crest.
