Citrus art teachers to showcase work at exhibit


vShe is currently working on a piece to process grief from the recent loss of a loved one.

“I use my work to process things that would be overwhelming,” Leisure said. “I use my art as a tool to work through things like that.”

This mixed media work by Lecanto High art teacher Erika DiGirolamo has been accepted into the National Art Education Association juried exhibition. It will be on display in the Citrus County Schools’ Art Teacher Art exhibit from Nov. 1 through Dec. 19 at the Old Courthouse Heritage Museum in Inverness.
