The Board of Trustees has retained Isaacson, Miller, a national executive search firm
The Bronx Museum’s Board of Trustees announces a nationwide search for Executive Director in partnership with the firm Isaacson, Miller.
“As we embark on this critical search for our next Executive Director, our Board and Staff are thrilled at the opportunity it presents for The Bronx Museum’s next phase of excellence,” said Bronx Museum Board Chair Joseph Mizzi.
The incoming Executive Director will lead during a pivotal moment in the Museum’s history. Founded in 1971 by community advocates, The Bronx Museum forged a path as a contemporary arts organization dedicated to uplifting marginalized artists and fostering meaningful creative experiences for people in The Bronx and beyond. In its next phase, the Museum will open a highly anticipated $33 million multi-story expansion in 2026. It is poised to grow as a platform for innovative exhibitions, a trusted community partner, a source of pride, and a thriving hub for education and artistic collaboration in The Bronx and New York City. The new Executive Director will embody The Bronx Museum’s passion for fostering artistic discovery, cultural dialogue, and community engagement.
Isaacson, Miller has four decades of partnering with mission-driven organizations to identify transformational leaders with a proven record of excellence, integrity, and impact, and its national Arts and Culture team has conducted international CEO searches for hundreds of institutions, many of them New York City-based museums.
