City to resurface pickleball courts; makes rules for food carts


The Redmond City Council gave the thumbs up on Tuesday for the rehabilitation of tennis and pickleball courts at Sam Johnson and Valleyview parks, with plans to convert one of the two tennis courts at Valleyview into new pickleball courts.

During the city council’s regular meeting on Oct. 21, the council approved the $161,177 to rehabilitate courts at both Sam Johnson and Valleyview parks and to convert one tennis court at Valleyview into four new pickleball courts.
