CLEMSON – The Clemson Tigers secured their first commitment of the 2024 class with three-star forward Dallas Thomas, and three months later, they’ve paired him with a guard.

Brad Brownell and the Tigers staff made a heavy push for 2024 three-star guard Ace Buckner. The Indiana native made his official visit to Clemson Sep. 22 for the Clemson-Florida State football weekend, and he received an offer from Brownell and the Tigers a day later.

Buckner has deep ties to Clemson as the son of former Tigers star Greg Buckner, who was a two-time All-ACC player from 1994-98 before playing for a decade in the NBA.

Now, Ace Buckner is continuing that legacy at Clemson, as he announced his commitment to the Tigers via X, formerly known as Twitter.

Clemson is beginning to round out their 2024 class, and the storyline mixed with the talent of the three-star guard is a home-run for Brownell and the staff.
