Cleveland State Men’s Tennis Closes Out Play At ITA Midwest Regional


ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Cleveland State men’s tennis team closed out play at the ITA Midwest Regional Saturday, with Mikael Erler appearing in the Main Singles Draw.

Erler, who was making his second straight appearance in the Main Singles Draw, came up short in the first round against Ohio State’s Robert Cash (6-4, 6-0).

In addition, the Vikings had five doubles teams in action on Friday, with all five dropping out of the Main Doubles Draw after the first round of play.

Cleveland State will continue its fall season next week, hosting the Viking Invitational at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion on Friday, October 27 through Sunday, October 29.
