Close Family and Friends Will Attend Tina Turner’s Funeral

Tina Turner’s funeral will be a small gathering of just her close friends and family.

The late famous singer’s former personal helper said that the famous singer did not want a “big public funeral.”

“Armani,” who worked with the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll for more than 20 years, told The Mirror, “She did not want a big public funeral.”

He said there won’t be a public funeral for Tina, but fans can expect some kind of “memorial concert” for her.

“She wanted to be cremated, and I expect it to be a small, very private affair. I am sure there will be some kind of memorial concert and tribute later,” she said.

Eddy went on, “It will be for her very close friends in Switzerland, and her manager. It will not be a big family occasion.”

Last week, Tina, whose real name was Anna Mae Bullock, died “peacefully” at her home after a long illness.

Her spokeswoman confirmed that despite a protracted illness, “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” Tina Turner passed away quietly at her home in Kusnacht, Switzerland.

“With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model,” the statement said.
