Quilt Club
The Pieces N Patches Quilt Club will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 6 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 1801 S. Dixieland Road in Rogers. The program will feature local, long-time quilter Pam Mobley. Her Trunk Show will present quilts made over the years highlighting the many appliqué quilts she has made and designed.

Andante
Andante Music Club of Bella Vista invites the public to attend the annual sacred music program at 1 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Highland Christian Church, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd. in Bella Vista.
Andante club members and their guests will perform contemporary christian music, gospel music and hymns in voice and on piano.
Gloria Febro Grilk and guest, Pam Meyer, will perform “Praise Him! Praise Him” as a piano duet. Grilk is the current president of Andante Music Club and very active in the National and Arkansas Federation of Music Clubs. Pianist Marilyn Lee will perform an engaging arrangement of “It is Well With My Soul.” Lee, serving 70 years as a church musician, has accompanied the Bella Vista Men’s Chorus for over six decades.
“Lord, Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace,” will be performed by Joretta Evans, Hillary Sperry and Heidi Boyd. The lyrics of this familiar anthem is from the Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi.
Other vocalists on the program are Jane Powell, Arlene and Jerry Biebesheimer. Andante Club pianists sharing their talents are Yvonne Washer and Garth Smith, a known pianist in the area, specializing in arrangements of sacred music.
The program is free and open to the public.

Handweavers
The Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 11 in the Shiloh Meeting Hall on the campus of the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in Springdale. The program will be an overview of weave structures. Guests are always welcome.

Hikers
The Ozark Hill Hikers, affiliated with the American Volkssport Association, invite all interested walkers to join them for a walk Nov. 11 at Siloam Springs. Registration is from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the Phillips 66 Convenience Store, 1295 N. Mt. Olive St. in Siloam Springs.
The walk will start and end at the Bob Henry Park where participants will choose either a 5K or 10K walk. The walks follow the Dogwood Springs greenway trail that meanders along Sager Creek and past John Brown University and continues through the historic downtown district.
There is a fee of $3 for credit and $2 for noncredit. Membership dues to the Ozark Hill Hikers are $12 a year prorated $1 for each month remaining in the calendar year.
