Coachella to Feature Surprise Set by Blink-182

On the first weekend of Coachella, Blink-182 will show up out of the blue. Tom DeLonge, the rock band’s singer and guitarist, made the news public on Twitter.

“See you at Coachella on Friday 6:30pm Sahara Tent,” he wrote about the Sahara Tent on Twitter.

The band’s set will be the first time they’ve played together in almost a decade since Travis Barker got hurt and their reunion tour had to be put off. Barker is the drummer for the band. Twice during rehearsals, he hurt his hand, which meant he needed surgery.

The North American part of their tour will begin in May and last until July, and tickets are on sale now.

Coachella will be held from April 14th to 16th and will have a wide range of artists, such as Frank Ocean, Bad Bunny, Gorillaz, and Bjork.

blink-182 is an American rock band that started in Poway, California, in 1992. Mark Hoppus plays bass and sings, Tom DeLonge plays guitar and sings, and Travis Barker plays drums. Their pop-punk sound is a mix of catchy pop melodies and fast-paced punk rock. Their style has changed over the years, but this sound is still a big part of what they do.
