Cobra Kai Season 6 Gets an Amazing Release Date Change

Season six of Cobra Kai, the final season of the Karate Kid spin-off series, has gotten a fresh update from creators Josh Heald, Hayden Schlossberg, and Jon Hurwitz.

In November, series star Xolo Mariduena revealed the production timeline, stating that it was “right around the corner.”

In a candid interview with Deadline, Schlossberg affirmed that the last season will be released in 2024, saying, “With the only caveat being that nothing else happens in the industry. That’s the hope to get this out ASAP for the fans who have been waiting.”

Cobra Kai has received significant praise since its premiere in 2018, while maintaining faithful to its previous film series, the Karate Kid.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the Netflix show has lifted the bar with each new season, never sliding below a flat 90% or 100% at its peak.

The upcoming season will include Kim Sun-Yung, a character who has only been mentioned by name, introducing fans to Mr. Miyagi’s rival, played by Pat Mirati as Anti-Miyagi.
