Coldplay Makes Bold Promises When Unveiling a Green Project at the Rose Bowl Event

Coldplay’s last US show on their Music of the Spheres World Tour is tonight, and they are going green.

The English rock band’s last tour was in 2017, so they put their live shows on hold until they could come up with a way to be green. This tour is the start of their green project.

According to the Coldplay website, the plan includes public transportation, the ability to get there on foot, bike racks on site, and refillable bottles. All of these things are meant to reduce the total carbon footprint.

The band keeps talking about the project by posting pictures for it on their Instagram stories.

The much-anticipated Music of the Spheres World Tour was first revealed on October 14, 2021, with Music of the Spheres, their ninth studio album, as the background.

Today’s show in Pasadena, which was added to the record-breaking tour as a bonus, will be the last time the four-person English band plays in the United States.

The shows are part of the North American leg of the tour, which includes stops in Seattle, Vancouver, San Diego, and Pasadena.

But earlier this year, the alternative rock/pop band stated that there will be second shows in the last two cities, so more Coldplayer fans will be able to go to the sold-out tour. They also said that H.E.R. and 070 Shake will be the first acts to perform at both sites.

After taking a short break this month, the tour will start its Asian part on November 15 in Indonesia.
