Coming to Tampa: Hozier, Hootie & the Blowfish, Alanis Morissette and more


It’s not too soon to snag some concert tickets for the folks on your holiday gift list.

MidFlorida Credit Union Ampitheatre announced a flurry of 2024 shows this week for fans to choose from.

When seven-time Grammy winner Alanis Morissette comes back to Tampa on Wednesday, June 19, she’ll be in good company. Joan Jett and the Blackharts, plus singer Morgan Wade, will open.

A Citi ticket presale for the Triple Moon Tour starts Tuesday, Nov. 14. Fans can also sign up for Morrissette’s mailing list via alanis.com for a link to an additional presale. The general ticket sales stars 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 on alanis.com. VIP packages will also be available.

Hootie & the Blowfish

Hootie & the Blowfish, which reunited in 2019 after an 11-year hiatus, will embark on the Summer Camp with Trucks Tour next year. Special guests include Collective Soul and Edwin McCain. The tour will come to Tampa on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Presale started this week, with a general sale beginning 10 a.m. Friday via hootie.com.

Hozier

The Irish singer is extending the Unreal Unearth Tour — his most extensive headlining run in North America to date — due to demand. He’ll be coming to Tampa on Saturday, May 11. Allison Russell will open.

Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday, Nov. 17 via ticketmaster.com.

Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto climbed the Empire State Building in New York City today to announce his band’s Seasons 2024 World Tour. Leto, who co-founded the band with his brother Shannon, will be returning to Tampa on Saturday, Aug. 24.
