From Friday to Sunday, car enthusiasts can get an up-close look at hundreds of the latest models of cars, trucks, crossovers, SUVs, electric vehicles, classic cars, custom vehicles and more on the show floor from brands like Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Genesis, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lotus, Mercedes, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, Valenti, Volkswagen and Volvo.
A luxury vehicle display showcasing brands like Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Cadillac will also be at the show, according to the show’s news release.
“Come sit in the cars, pop the hoods, inspect the trunks and kick the tires,” according to the show’s Mohegan Sun event page. “The Connecticut Auto Show is great entertainment for serious shoppers, car buffs and the entire family.”
Guests will have the chance to talk to product specialists, learn about the latest automotive technology, inspect engines and test drive dozens of vehicles in a “no-pressure” and non-selling environment, according to the show’s news release.
The show is owned by the Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association and produced by Steve Freeman Events, the news release reads. In addition to new vehicle models, the event will showcase a multimillion dollar collection of exotic cars by the New England Supercar Club and a Valenti classic car collection. There will also be more than 20 tricked out Jeeps at the venue, according to the show’s Facebook page.
Besides viewing cars, attendees can adopt a dog at the venue as part of the Subaru Loves Pets Campaign or make monetary donations, which go directly to the cause’s partner shelters, the show’s website states. Attendees can also enter to win a Mercedes-Benz EQ Formula E Team E-bike valued at $3,200, according to the news release, courtesy of the Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association.
The car show will take place on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according Mohegan Sun’s website, and free parking is available on-site at the venue located at 1 Mohegan Sun Blvd. in Uncasville.
