PEARL, Miss. (WJTV) – Two Country music stars will perform at this year’s Pearl Day Concert.
The event will return to Trustmark Park on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
The headliner will be Ashley McBryde. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. with special guest Rhett Akins set to perform at 7:00 p.m. McBryde will take the stage at 8:45 p.m.
McBryde burst onto the scene with her major label debut album, “Girl Going Nowhere,” which charmed critics and audiences alike, earning her a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album.
Her latest album, “The Devil I Know” is available now, featuring lead single “Light On In The Kitchen.” McBryde recently announced new shows through Summer 2024 with The Devil I Know Tour.
Akins is a successful solo artist who has also written chart-toppers for other artists such as Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Dustin Lynch, John Pardi, Parker McCollum, and Thomas Rhett. He has had 35 No. 1 singles so far, and the first No. 1 hit he recorded was the memorable “That Ain’t My Truck.” Later, his song “Honey Bee” would become the highest selling digital debut by a country male solo artist.
