The Santa Barbara County Office of Arts and Culture is now accepting applications for the Arts Making Impact (AMI) grant; the deadline for applications is Friday, Feb. 16. 

This year, the grant program will focus on arts and culture nonprofit organizations with an annual operating budget under $500,000, and grassroots projects with nonprofit fiscal sponsorship. More information and guidelines are available at sbac.ca.gov/county-grants. 

Any first-time applicants must have attended the online information session on Wednesday, Jan. 31. Applicants must also be based in Santa Barbara County and provide services to Santa Barbara County residents. Applicants can apply for up to $5,000, and the total funds available this cycle is $50,000. 

“We are hoping to continue to maximize the available funding to support smaller groups that may not have as many resources,” said Arts Commission Chair Mary Harris in a press release.
