After decades of community efforts and countless deaths of animals in collisions with vehicles, Teton County finally has made tangible progress toward building long-sought wildlife crossings at three new locations, including north of town by the National Fish Hatchery.

County engineering staff and consultants presented plans to commissioners during a workshop Monday, showing designs about a third of the way through the process. They will give a similar public presentation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Teton County Library.
