CPS may implement new student assessment technology


The Columbia School Board is exploring a new student assessment platform, which would be integrated into existing technology.

Elizabeth McCracken, executive director of curriculum and instruction, walked the board through Pear Assessments at its work session Thursday morning. The program for K-12 students measures skills in English/language arts, math, science and social studies.
