The Cultural Capital, Artist in Business Leadership, and Native Performing Arts Fellowships offer incredible opportunities for Native artists and culture bearers looking to deepen their creative practice through funding support and networking opportunities development. Join a dynamic community of past and present fellows who are shaping the future of Native arts and culture.

CULTURAL CAPITAL FELLOWSHIP

The Cultural Capital Fellowship supports Native artists and culture bearers who are deeply rooted in their communities and committed to preserving and sharing ancestral knowledge. This program honors artists who embody generosity, wisdom, and integrity in their cultural work.

Each fellow receives a $10,000 grant to support their efforts in cultural preservation, community outreach, and the continuation of traditional practices through the arts.

Key Information:

• Artists and culture bearers should be actively engaged with their Native and Tribal community

• Demonstrating a commitment to passing on ancestral knowledge is an important component of this fellowship

• Strongest applicants will use cultural sharing as a core part of their daily life and creative practice

• Fellowship Period: January 1 – December 31, 2026
