Nicole Kidman, Dakota Fanning, Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy, Eve Hewson, and Jack Reynor are currently negotiating to join the cast of the upcoming Netflix series The Perfect Couple.

Susanne Bier, winner of an Emmy for The Undoing starring Nicole Kidman, is directing and executive producing the Netflix series.

According to Deadline, the limited series was originally destined for Fox, but in August 2022, it was transferred to Netflix.

The movie The Perfect Couple is based on Elin Hilderbrand’s book of the same name, which was a New York Times bestseller.

The story continues, “On the Fourth of July, Celeste Otis, a native of Nantucket, is about to marry the ideal man, who also happens to be from a wealthy local family. However, when a body is discovered floating in the harbor on the morning of the wedding of the year, everyone at the party becomes a suspect.”

Cast members and their respective character details have not been confirmed.
