Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn’s New Film Is Set Inside a Taxi in New York City

Fans of Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn got a sneak peek at their upcoming movie Daddio in the form of two new stills from the set.

Johnson’s independent entertainment company, TeaTime Pictures, came up with the idea for this interesting feature picture.

In this one-of-a-kind movie, Sean Penn plays the cab driver, and Dakota Johnson is the person who rides with him.

The whole movie takes place inside a taxi in New York City. It follows two people from JFK Airport to midtown Manhattan, capturing a single, deep talk that changes as they go.

Daddio was first written as a play for the stage. The plot was written by playwright Christy Hall, who also directs the movie.

In an Instagram post, TeaTime Pictures and Dakota Johnson showed a sneak peek of the movie with the statement “First look at the newest member of the TeaTime family.”

The post was followed by two emojis: a yellow taxi cab and a silhouette of a blonde woman. This was a tantalizing hint about what moviegoers can expect from this interesting project.
