
DARIEN, CT — Darien High School hosted its inaugural Arts Commitment Ceremony on Tuesday, April 29 in the DHS auditorium lobby, celebrating senior students who have committed to pursuing the arts at the collegiate level.
This special event honored students who will continue their studies in visual arts, music, theater, and related disciplines. Families, faculty, and friends gathered to recognize the passion, talent, and dedication of these young artists as they embark on the next chapter of their creative journeys.
The following students were honored:
- Cece Cummins – University of Delaware, vocal performance
- CJ Schorr – Northwestern University, vocal performance
- Marianne Tsocanos – Ithaca College or Pace University, stage management
- Anastassia Grytsenko – Sarah Lawrence College or Emerson College, fine art/theater/dance
- Nat Lucak – Fashion Institute of Technology, fne arts
“Darien High School extends its deepest appreciation to the arts educators at every level whose guidance and mentorship have helped shape these students’ paths,” a news release said from DHS Director of Visual Art and Music Colleen Thompson. “Their support has been instrumental in fostering a love for the arts and empowering students to pursue their passions beyond high school.”
