Dario G, an international DJ, said on Wednesday on Twitter that he has been told he has stage 4 prostate cancer. The DJ, whose real name is Paul Spencer, was given a somewhat scary diagnosis, but he said he was keeping positive and was going to see a doctor soon to talk about what to do next. “Hard to write this. I’ve just found out that I’ve got stage 4 rectal cancer and a shadow on my liver.” “That’s damn hard to read, too, I’m sure. Gonna give it my best shot, though. Stay positive, cos I am. Always. Seeing the doctors on Friday to discuss the next steps.” Fans were happy about Spencer’s news, and one of them wrote: “So sorry to hear this, really don’t know what to say, stay strong mate.” Lisa McGee, who wrote Derry Girls, also sent her love and said, “I am so sorry. Spencer is the band’s only member now, but he kept the name after Stephen Spencer and Scott Rosser left.
