Despite rumors that they had moved on from their lover, Christian Cowan, Sam Smith’s love life appears to be going strong.

Speculation about Smith’s dating life began a few days ago, with some suggesting that he has already joined up for dating app Raya.

However, an insider told the Daily Mail that the reports are just that – rumours – and that if such a dating profile under their identity exists, it is almost certainly a forgery.

“Sam and Christian are still very much in a relationship and they haven’t been on Raya,” a person familiar with the matter said.

“Given there’s a profile for them that exists on the app, there’s a fear now that someone is impersonating Sam and they will be speaking to Raya about this” said the source.

Smith, who uses they-them pronouns, began dating Cowan, a celebrity fashion designer, in January of last year.

It was their first public romance after splitting with 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn in 2018 due to their hectic schedules.

Smith and Cowan were last seen together on December 14 at a party in New York City.
