David J. Burns, 60, Tyrone, died Saturday. He was born in Tyrone, son of the late Charles E. Sr. and Delores E. (Lucas) Burns. Surviving are his wife, Jackie Hopkins; brothers: Charles Jr., Gregory “Matt” and John; and many nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister, Vickie; and a brother, William. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023, at the funeral home.
