Davina McCall raved about her co-judge on Masked Singer, Jonathan Ross, as he told her about his pay while they were working on the show.

The 55-year-old TV star told The Sun that Jonathan was honest because he wanted to protect her from a possible pay gap between men and women while they worked on the show.

She called him “the nicest man and a woman’s ally” because he talked with her about the topic when the show premiered in 2020.

Davina told the magazine, “When I got my job, Jonathan called me and said: ‘This is what I’m being paid.’”

“I think you and I should get paid the same amount.”

Davina went on to say that the difference between her pay and Jonathan’s wasn’t that big.

She also said, “But he wanted to make sure there wasn’t, and I love him for that.”

The other two people in the Masked Singer group are comedian Mo Gilligan, 35, and singer Rita Ora, 32.

It comes as Davina gets ready to host “middle-aged” Love Island on a new ITV show called “My Mum, Your Dad.”
