Expert stylist points out some wardrobe choices that millennials are stuck with and must evolve to become more relevant. According to Marla McLeod, a Miami based Gen Z stylist told The Post that Gen Z is more willing to experiment with different things and have more fun with fashion versus millennials. Here are some important tips.
Fitted blazers Vs Loose blazers
Swap your fitted coat or blazer with an over sized one which is likely to support gender neutrality and body positivity.
Skinny jeans Vs Over sized jeans/trousers
Now it is all about silhoutte of clothes. So, skinny jeans are passé and must be replaced by slouchy trousers.
Chunky jewellery Vs minimalistic pieces
Millenials used to wear heavy, blingy and chunky jewellery. Now it’s time to give them away for sleek and minimalistic pieces for that clean girl aesthetic.
Ankle socks Vs Long socks
Gen Z prefers long socks rather than ankle socks preferred by their predecessors. Even when they wear boots they prefer covering the skin unlike millennials who prefered showing a bit of their skin in between the hem of their trousers and their socks or shoes.
