Denise Richards and NeNe Leakes, former Real Housewives stars, are teaming up for a brand new Lifetime movie titled Hunting Housewives, which premieres on March 9. This action-packed thriller transports the glamorous housewives to the woods, where they must struggle for survival against the weather and ferocious hunters.
Richards, best known for her roles in Starship Troopers and Wild Things, has traded in her Hollywood lifestyle for the rough wilderness. She portrays Vivienne, a high-maintenance socialite forced to rely on her wits when their weekend spa trip takes an unexpected turn. Leakes, the fiery firecracker from Atlanta, plays Vanessa, another housewife whose sharp wit and tenacity will be critical in their fight for survival.
Kym Johnson-Herjavec (Shark Tank) and Melyssa Ford (Tyler Perry’s House of Payne) complete the eclectic mix of women thrown into this unexpected adventure. As their plane crashes in the middle of nowhere, their expensive luggage and stilettos give way to survival instincts and homemade weaponry.
Hunting Housewives promises a spectacular mix of action, intrigue, and even humor as the unexpected heroines navigate the hard terrain, overcome internal tensions, and confront a secret clan of hunters.
Executive producer Emily Zimmy explains, “We wanted to create a movie that’s both exciting and thought-provoking. ‘Hunting Housewives’ shows how strong and resilient women can be, even when faced with the most challenging circumstances.”
Mark your calendars for March 9th and get ready to watch these “housewives” trade their diamonds for survival skills in Lifetime’s action-packed adventure, Hunting Housewives.
