JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is searching for two suspects who allegedly stole a vehicle on Thursday.

Neighbors told WLOX they saw several law enforcement vehicles at Highway 57 and Gautier Vancleave Road.

The sheriff’s department said the two suspects stole the vehicle and then wrecked it in that area.

Deputies were still searching for them as of 8 a.m.

The identities of the suspects have not yet been released.
