Despite Losing Grammys, Lana Del Rey Admits, ‘I Just Loved Being There’

Lana Del Rey, despite not winning any of her nominated categories at the 2024 Grammys, stays positive and joyful.

The 38-year-old singer took to social media on Wednesday to reassure followers that she had a pleasant time at the event.

“I literally just loved being there. I love to see everyone, get the tea and hang out. Get dressed up,” she wrote on a fan’s Instagram image.

Del Rey, who was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album, Best Alternative Music Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year at the 66th annual gala, offered her thoughts on the event.

“I literally did not feel 1 ounce of negative emotion at any point in that award ceremony,” she went on to say. “It was pure funniness and laughter.”

Lana’s recent positive demeanour comes after a memorable Instagram photo in which she posed with a gun in a hotel room, captioned “Always chillin.”

Despite the fact that she had yet to collect a Recording Academy award, Del Rey’s album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd established her as a contender for Best Alternative Music Album and Album of the Year.

However, The Record by boygenius and Taylor Swift’s Midnights won out in the end.

Del Rey’s song A&W received nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance and Song of the Year, however The Record by boygenius and Billie Eilish’s What Was I Made For? won both honours, respectively.
