ALLIANCE – Despite the heavy rain, the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival Auto Show at Glamorgan Castle still happening today. The show is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sue Grove, president of the festival board, said Saturday that all the cars participating in the show have arrived, and officials do not believe the rain will last. She added that the show could be shortened or ended early, if the storm doesn’t subside.

The other Carnation Festival events scheduled for Saturday are the Flower Show, Community Luncheon, Used Book Sale, Food Fest, Pedal Tractor Pull and Shakespeare at the Castle. Grove said all of those events also are still happening.
