The Devil In The Family: The Fall Of Ruby Franke docu-series on Disney+ has proved an immediate hit with viewers.

In its first five days of streaming the series drove 7.9 million global views, becoming the biggest docu-series on Disney+ in the UK and EMEA to date and held a top spot on the Disney+ Top 10 in the UK Today list for seven days following its premiere on February 27th – with social conversation around the Franke family increasing 217 per cent since the premiere.

When popular vlogger Ruby Franke was arrested for child abuse in August 2023, it quickly becomes one of the biggest trending stories in America. For years, the Frankes YouTube channel had documented a wholesome, happy family life, with nearly 3 million subscribers tuning in at its peak. But happy families are rarely what they seem.
