Ariana Grande fuelled marriage rumours with fiancé Ethan Slater after a blind item was posted on Instagram gossip account DeuxMoi.
Though the email put on the Stories did not expressly mention the couple, the author provided enough hints in the email address, subject, and message.
It read: “This A-List singer whose album name (has yet to be announced) is Eternal Sunshine. Which refers to one of this A-list singer’s favorite movies, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind which also happens to be the initials of their now husband.”
“This A-List singer and Z-list actor on Broadway recently tied the knot in secret in a theatre in New York this past December, with an intimate ceremony of friends and family,” they go on to say.
“This A-List singer has opted to NOT wear her wedding ring in public due to controversy surrounding their relationship. They previously got engaged in July of 2023, on the singers 30th birthday,” the email stated.
For those unfamiliar, Grande recently teased her latest single, Yes, And?, by including easter eggs from the aforementioned film starring Jim Carrey.
Aside from including coordinates for a major site in Eternal Sunshine in her music video teaser, the Save Your Tears singer also included a red heart beneath a clip from the film posted by a fan account on Instagram.
It’s uncertain whether the tip was completely accurate; nonetheless, all of the hints in the email lead to a romance between Grande and Slater.
The 30-year-old pop sensation has recently made news for supposedly referencing her scandalous romance with her Wicked co-star in her latest hit.
Grande responded to public criticism of the romance, which was revealed in July, in a song released last week.
The Thank You, Next singer was labelled a homewrecker at the time because he was still married to his now-ex-wife Lilly Jay.
Meanwhile, she had apparently been separated from her now-ex-husband Dalton Gomez since early last year.
